Nepal lost to India in the first match of the SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship football tournament. India defeated Nepal 4-1 in the match in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

 Barsha Oli scored a goal for Nepal.

Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan and Russia are participating in the tournament. Nepal will play Bhutan in their second match on Wednesday.
