Nepali runner Pushpa Bhandari has won gold in the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon.
Pushpa did not complete the scheduled distance of 42.195 km in the marathon held today in Dhaka, Bangladesh in two hours, 48 minutes and two seconds. She became the champion for the second time in that competition. Earlier in 2021, Bhandari won the gold medal.
Sri Lanka's Sujani Perera came second and Nepal's Bindra Dhanke Shrestha came third in the marathon.
