The Nepali cricket team, which is on a tour of Sri Lanka to prepare for the ICC World Cup League-2, has been given a target of 233 runs by Sri Lanka United-11 to win the fourth practice match.
Batting first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka United-11 lost all their wickets in 48.2 overs for a total of 232 runs. Anuk Fernando top-scored for Sri Lanka United-11 with a 56-run half-century. Sandun Birakkodi scored 49 runs while Dilsan Munvira contributed 14, Upul Tharanga 3, Thisera Perera 8, Chamara Silva 6, Dilruwan Perera 14, Prasanna 12, Kumaraswamy 30 and Nimantha 18 runs.
Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee and Sagar Dhakal took three wickets each while Sompal Kami took two wickets. Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane and Arif Sheikh took one wicket each. Earlier, Nepal has won all the three practice matches. Nepal had defeated Sri Lanka Navy by 111 runs and 89 runs respectively in the first and second practice match. Similarly, in the third practice match, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka Police by 144 runs.
The Nepali cricket team will travel directly from Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on March 12 to play the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular one-day series.
