Nepal won a medal in badminton at the South Asian Junior Regional Championship in Gauhati, India.
Initially, Nepal lost to India and Sri Lanka in Mixed Team Events. But after defeating Maldives 5-0 and Bhutan 5-0 sets, they managed to win bronze medals in U-15 and U-17 Mixed Team Events.
Kabir KC, Sahil Chand, Roji Rai, and Rihana Serchan are among the medal winners.
Similarly, the players in the U-17 team are David Thapamargar, Suraj Gupta, Rose Pandey, and Sania Chand.
