Nepalese National Women’s football team returned home after finishing as runner up of the WAFF Women’s Championship 2024.

Member of the House of Representatives and former State Minister for Health Dr Toshima Karki, President Pankaj Bikram Nembang and General Secretary Kiran Rai welcomed the team home.

President Nembang also announced a cash prize of Rs 51,000 each to the players of the national team. The team missed out on title after narrowly losing on penalties.
