The Nepali national football team which is in Kuwait at the moment has started practicing for its matches. The team has started training at the Kazmah Sports Club.
Prior to arriving in Kuwait the team was in Iraq and had played a friendly match against the Iraqi national football team. Nepal lost the game to Iraq with a scoreline of 6-2.
The Nepali football team travelled to Iraq from Kuwait via the land route. The team will be playing three FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Kuwait. Nepal will play its first qualifier against Chinese Taipei on June 3. The next game is against Jordan on June 7. Nepal will play the third and final game against Australia on June 11.
