The Paralympic games are starting today in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
Nepal is also participating in the inauguration ceremony. Nepal Taekwondo player Palesha Gobardhan is carrying the national flag on behalf of Nepal. Nepal has participated in only one match of the tournament. A group of total number of six members have reached Japan.
Nepali taekwondo player Gobardhan is scheduled to compete in the 58 kg weight category of taekwondo. She has already won the Asian Championship and has also participated in the World Championship.
Athletes from 163 countries are participating in the Paralympic Games.
