The 'logo' and 'mascot' of the Ninth National Games-2022 have been made public. Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj and Rakhep Member Secretary Tankalal Ghising unveiled the logo and mascot at a program organized by the National Sports Council today.

The logo and mascot designed by Bholanath Poudel were selected from the competition. The logo depicts Pokhara, the capital of Gandaki province, and Machhapuchche. The blue line in the sky reflects the dove, a symbol of peace. The dove's legs are shown in four red stripes.

The four lines represent the trek of the playground as well as the 4th province of Gandaki. The moon and sun on the trek reflect the national flag and represent all the participating teams, according to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The following two letters of this figure refer to the version of the national sport and the year and the venue of the competition and the province. The 'Muscat' of the Ninth Games includes the figure of the endangered and protected system musk deer found in Gandaki.

The Ninth National Games, which was halted due to the Corona epidemic, is being held in Pokhara, the capital of Gandaki, from June 5 to 11. The cabinet meeting on April 13 had decided to hold the ninth national sports competition in Pokhara, Gandaki.

The ninth edition of the National Games, which was supposed to be held every two years, was to be held in 2021 BS. The game was postponed due to the worldwide spread of covid infection.
