KATHMANDU: Sudurpaschim Royals have triumphed in their third consecutive match in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament.
In today’s game at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, the Royals secured a 45-run victory over Lumbini Lions.
Chasing a target of 188 set by Sudurpaschim, Lumbini was bowled out for 142 runs in 20 overs, losing 9 wickets.
Earlier, Sudurpaschim, after losing the toss and being invited to bat first, posted a total of 187/4 in their 20 overs.
This marks Sudurpaschim’s third consecutive win in the ongoing NPL.
They had previously defeated Biratnagar Kings and Kathmandu Gurkhas. On the other hand, Lumbini has now lost three consecutive matches, having also been defeated by Biratnagar Kings and Pokhara Avengers in earlier encounters.
