Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has come to Nepal and met with national cricketers including Sandeep Lamichhane.
He arrived in Nepal on Sunday evening and met the players of the national cricket team on Monday morning. On Sunday evening, Rizwan met Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) president Chatur Bahadur Chand and discussed about Nepali cricket.
Chairman Chand informed that there was a very short informal meeting between them. Chand said that Rizwan had the intention of meeting Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane.
Sandeep, accused of rape, has been released on bail on the condition that he cannot go abroad and has been included in the national team by CAN. Rizwan, who came to Nepal for a very short time, returned today at 12 o'clock.
