Rupesh Jaiswal has become the champion in the 'Himalayan 100' blitz chess organized by the Himalayan Chess Academy on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) as part of the world record setting campaign. In the competition held by Himalayan Chess Academy in collaboration with Yukti Foundation at King's College, Babarmahal, FIDE Master (FM) Rupesh won the title by scoring 9.5 points while remaining undefeated.
