Defending champions India defeated Bhutan 1-0 in the match held here today under the SAFF U-20 football Championship.

India got off to a winning start in the tournament with the 1-0 victory over Bhutan in the match held today at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Nine-man India scraped to a 1-0 victory over ten-man Bhutan. 

The only goal of the match was scored by Monirul Molla in the 37th minute of the match.

Tomorrow, Bangladesh will play against Sri Lanka.
