Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, who was accused of rape, has been arrested in Kathmandu. He arrived in Kathmandu via Qatar Airways at Tribhuvan International Airport. Due to bad weather, the plane was delayed in landing in Kathmandu.
He was arrested by the Tribhuvan International Airport police and then handed over to the Gaushala police office. Sandeep was then taken to Gaushala police office. His lawyers and Sandeep's family were present there. A large number of journalists awaited his arrival at the airport.
