U-19 Women’s World Cup Cricket: Nepal sets Scotland a target of 74 runs

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set Scotland a target of 74 runs for victory in its second match today under the ongoing ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup cricket tournament in Malaysia.

Batting first at the UKM Oval Cricket Ground in Malaysia, Nepal lost all its wickets and scored 73 runs in 18.5 overs. Captain Pooja Mahato scored the highest score for Nepal, 27 runs. She hit three fours in 43 balls. Similarly, Savitri Dhami scored 10 runs. Other players could not score double figures.

On the bowling front, Macy McKeever took five wickets for Scotland alone. Similarly, Ami Baldi and Naima Sheikh took two wickets each and Christy Myacol took one wicket. Scotland is currently batting against Nepal.
