𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥'𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨 𝐎𝐲𝐮 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭

The team successfully reached the summit at 12:30 p.m. NPT on 2 October 2023, just five days after crossing the Tibet border, as they were well acclimatised from their Manaslu expedition.

Mount Cho Oyu is the 6th highest mountain in the world, with an elevation of 8,201 metres above sea level, located on the Nepal-Tibet border 20 km west of Mount Everest in the Mahalangur range. Cho Oyu means “Turquoise Goddess” in Tibetan.
