Air flights at Tribhuwan International Airport have been affected due to adverse weather conditions. The airport office said that the domestic and international flights from the airport were generally affected due to poor visibility.
Flights to various international and domestic destinations are not on time, while some international flights are on hold.
Due to bad weather, domestic flights have been stopped in Himalayan districts, especially Lukla, Simikot and other airports. Flights at airports in other remote areas have also been affected.
According to the weather forecast division of the Department of Water and Meteorology, there is currently rain and wind in the country due to the influence of western winds and local winds.
