Today at 5 Am Pakistani time (18th July 2023 ), Nima Rinji Sherpa and his climbing partner Pasang Nurbu Sherpa along with Kristin Harilla, Tenzing Sherpa and 9 more climbers from seven summit treks and 14 Peaks Expedition successfully summited the world’s 11th highest mountain Mt.Gasherbrum I (8080m) in Karakoram range.

Nima Rinji Sherpa successfully ascended Mt.Gasherbrum I (8080m) at the age of 17 years and 90 days, which makes him the youngest ever to climb Mt.Gasherbrum 1
The previous record by Nima :
On the 26th of June 2023, Nima successfully ascended Mt.Nanga Parbat 8126m in Pakistan at the age of 17 years and 68 days and he became the youngest ever to do it.
Nima also broke the world record for climbing Mount Everest and Lhotse at the youngest age by climbing double headers (8000ers) at 17 Years 35 days on 24 May within 10 hours.
In the autumn of 2022, at the age of 16 years, Nima climbed the Manaslu Main Summit (8163m) and he set the world record as the youngest person successfully climb Mt. Manaslu.
