Betana Wetland in Belbari, Morang attracts domestic and foreign tourists visiting this area. About 800 to 1000 visitors come to Betana Wetland every day.

Locals, as well as tourists from India's Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Bangladesh, come to visit here. This area has become the first choice in the east for walking and beautiful natural scenery. Here there are fish, turtles, birds, many animals, and various physical structures. Dumbar Basnet, president of Beta Wetlands Community Forest Users Group, said that people who enjoy boating in the huge and beautiful pond in Betana Wetlands can also be found. The activity of teachers and students has also increased on their vacation days to observe the studies here. The Betana wetlands are a delight for everyone, including children and the elderly.

President Basnet said that this area near the highway under the East-West Mahendra Highway is located about one kilometer east of Barbara, so there is a transportation facility for those coming and going here. Going to enjoy the natural environment here and taking photos and making TikTok is very common now. By reaching here, one can observe the forest, wetlands, and ponds. Various types of businesses including small hotel businesses have started flourishing around Betana Wetlands. ---
