CAAN to take action against seven airlines

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is preparing to take action against seven airlines for arrears. CAAN has given seven days to seven companies that are not in operation but are yet to pay their dues.

CAAN has issued such a notice on Sunday. Apart from this, the CAAN has warned that the operators and companies may not be allowed to avail any kind of service related to air services, airports in the future as per the Airport Service Fee Regulations.

CAAN will also blacklist the company if it does not pay the arrears within the stipulated period.

The airlines are:

Necon Air: 47.225 million 343

Shivani Air: 55 lakh 51 thousand 53

Gorkha Air: 20 lakh 35 thousand 29

Mountain Air: 6 lakh 10 thousand 834 rupees

Cosmic Air: 34.7 million 58 thousand 70

Skyline Airways: 7 lakh 80 thousand 400 rupees

Air Kasthamandap: 7 lakh 38 thousand 447
