Nepalese who reach America during a bicycle trip

Nepalese Ambassador for USA Sridhar Khatri welcomed Nepali world cyclist Ajit Baral at the Nepalese Embassy in Washington. Ajit is on an incredible and inspiring solo biking journey of the US, covering over 7,000 km across the country to advocate for Nepal. Starting from Key West, he has reached Washington, D.C. and is planning to end his trip in Boston. Having already cycled through 71 countries worldwide, Ajit is currently on his second solo cycling across the U.S., with his previous cross-country adventure taking him from Santa Monica, California to New York City in 2016.

Ajit aspires to serve as a beacon of inspiration for Nepalese worldwide, with his motto, " Where there is land, there shall be a bicycle " which reflects his unwavering determination to keep cycling as long as there is land to explore.
