The government has reduced the price of aviation fuel. The selling price of domestic aviation fuel has been reduced by Rs 10 per liter to now cost Rs 150 per liter, according to Nepal Oil Corporation.
Furthermore, the selling price for international aviation fuel has decreased by 200 US dollars per kiloliter (about 26 rupees per liter).
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of aviation fuel by Rs 10 per liter. The Airline Operators Association has adjusted the airfare with effect from today.
On Monday, the corporation reduced aviation fuel by Rs. 10 per liter. Accordingly, the flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi has been reduced by Rs. 440. Previously, the passenger had to pay only Rs 7,500 for air travel on this route, but now the fare has been fixed at Rs 7,070.
The fare of the mountain flight from Kathmandu has been reduced by Rs 345 and the maximum fare has been fixed at Rs 5,490. Likewise, 300 rupees for Kathmandu-Bhadrapur route, 240 rupees for Biratnagar, 130 rupees for Janakpur, 155 rupees for Pokhara, 110 rupees for Bharatpur, 250 rupees for Bhairahawa, 185 rupees for Nepalganj and 185 rupees for Surkhet Air fare has reduced by Rs 345.
