Yeti Airlines, one of the leading private airline companies in Nepal, successfully conducted the proving flight (Kathmandu-Varanasi-Kathmandu) on Wednesday.
The proving flight was conducted to meet the criteria used by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to assess the standard as the company has applied for permission to operate the chartered and non-scheduled flights in the countries of South-eastern Asia and South Asia, according to Chief Security officer and spokesperson for Yeti Airlines, Sudarshan Bartaula said.
With the completion of the proving flight, the airline company has reached the final stage. After the authorities study the report prepared on the proving flight, Yeti Airlines will be granted Air operator’s certificate (AOC) in a few days, Bartaula stated in a press release issued on Wednesday.
