The counting of votes for the open central member of the Nepali Congress, which started on Saturday, is underway.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has called for making the party united. He said this during a meeting with newly-elected vice president of the party Dhanraj Gurung today.

Nepali Congress general secretary Shashank Koirala has said a new government would be formed under the Nepali Congress' leadership soon.
