There was a demonstration in Kathmandu demanding to be allowed to do business on the footpath. The sidewalk traders demonstrated under the leadership of the National Self-Employed Businessmen.

They demanded the proper management of the footpath and the return of the looted goods.

They has also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Chief District Officer.
