Peachytonics: All about skincare

In recent days, skincare has become more of a trend than an important habit all should do. A significant growth in the skincare market was seen especially during global lockdowns as people finally had the time to look after themselves with everything closed around them.

Peachytonics, a luxury skincare brand has become a popular name in the Nepali skincare market today. It has a number of different skincare items with a blend of plant extracts.

22 year old Asmika Ali came up with Peachytonics in 2019. "I am very happy to be able to provide an option of high quality luxury skincare items to other skincare enthusiasts like me", she says.

All products of the luxury brand are formulated and manufactured in the USA. "When it comes to skincare products, it is very important to have certified professionals formulating the products. We do not have those expertise yet", explains Ali.

The manufacturing period varies from one product to another and may take a day or a month to be ready depending on the product.

Shipping the products has been Ali's biggest problem in her business. "During the lockdowns, it was not possible for us to ship everything at once", she says. The shipping costs have gone up after lockdowns which has increased Ali's problem even more.

"Thankfully, business has started running more smoothly now that the lockdowns are over", she says. Ali receives at least 25 requests everyday for her products.

Peachytonics consists of a variety of different skincare items such as face cleansers, clay masks, serums, moisturizers, exfoliating masks, face mists, face oils, etc.

Their 'Witch's Potion' is the most loved product by their customers. It is a high quality face oil mixed with natural flowers. It helps fight sun damage, lightens scars, prevents and lessens acne. It also has anti aging properties, acts as a moisture barrier and promotes the overall health of your skin.

Though skin care is important for everyone regardless of age or gender, most of Peachytonics' customers are women between the ages of 25 to 45. "An ideal customer for me is someone who cares what they are using on their face", Ali says.

"With skincare being a global trend, it is only natural that it becomes trendy in Nepal too. I think people are finally realizing the ill effects that bad quality skincare products can have on their skin", she adds.

"We are planning to scale it and get our products in stores all over Nepal in the near future", she says. "We are also working on getting a formal degree on cosmetics formulation", she adds.
