Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi has said that Nepal's culture including festivals and processions is our identity.
Ratka Krishna Shrestha, a photojournalist for the National News Agency (NNA), said that the photo exhibition was a new dimension after preserving and promoting his civilization and culture.
Former President Regmi said, "Nepal and its culture and traditions, including the Jatras, which carry the civilization, culture, and original identity of Nepalis, should be passed on from the old generation to the new generation."
Stating that the picture of the procession being given continuity even in the face of embarrassment caused by the earthquake and corona is self-evident, he mentioned that the procession and the festival are associated with the religious situation and even foreigners take it with great interest and enthusiasm.
One hundred pictures of Bal Kumari, Dakshin Barahi, Vishnuvir, Siddhikali Gana, Siddhi Ganesh of Nagdesh, and Mahalakshmi Gana of Bode and tongue piercing procession are being displayed in Thimi. Students of the school and people from different walks of life came to the exhibition to see the pictures of the historical procession.
