Corona infections have increased in Kanchanpur since last one week. According to District Health Office Kanchanpur, 12 people have been confirmed to be infected with Corona in Kanchanpur only on Wednesday. Most of those infected are those returning to Nepal from India.
District Health Office Kanchanpur's Covid Focal Person Shiddharaj Bhatt said that the infection was seen in people coming from India. "It doesn't look like it's getting sick like before." He said - "Now, people returning from India are being checked for corona infection at Gaddachouki on the border."
The most infected people are seen in Belauri municipality here. Out of 26 active infected people in the district, 24 are from Belauri. Jaisingh Bohra, Head of the Health Branch of Bailauri Municipality, said that most of the infected people came from India.
"When 16 suspected people were tested on Wednesday, nine people were found to be infected." He said - "Now we are only testing suspected patients."
Head of Gaddachouki Health Desk Priti Bohra said that corona infection was seen in people coming from India. "Three people were infected on Wednesday." He said - "Now the number of people returning home is less." On Wednesday, 149 people were tested for corona at the checkpoint, and three people were found to be infected. Currently, the number of active infected in Kanchanpur is 26.
