An oxygen plant has been set up at the primary health centre in Lalbandi Municipality-9 of Sarlahi.
Gopal Prasad Ghimire, chairman of the Health Center Management Committee, said that the Oxygen Plant has been set up in Lalbandi under the COVID-19 Emergency Rescue and Rehabilitation Project, which is being run with the financial support of the Australian Government, technical assistance of Adra Nepal and partnership of Bagmati Service Society Nepal Hariwan Sarlahi. The plant has been set up with the help of central, Madhesh Pradesh, and local governments as well as Australian Aid, Open Heart International, Adra Nepal and Bagmati Sewa Samaj Sarlahi, said Bharat Kumar Karki, chairman of Bagmati Sewa Samaj Sarlahi. The plant will be able to produce 24 oxygen cylinders of a total of 48 kg daily, said Dr Mukti Narayan Shah, Chief of Health Branch, Ministry of Social Development, Madhesh Pradesh.
