One person died and two others were injured when a truck, bus, and car collided there.
District Police Office Rupandehi said that the driver of the bus, Harish Tiwari, 21, of Tanahun Bhimad Municipality-5, died when a bus of 3 Lu 2 B 6038 and a private car of G 1 Ch 3713 collided with the truck No. Lu 2 B 606 which was stopped on the road.
Spokesman of District Police Office Rupandehi Shyamu Aryal informed that 39-year-old Vasu Ghimire of Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-1 of Paschim Nawalparasi and 16-year-old Dipesh Ghimire of the same place were injured in the accident that happened this morning.
The injured are being treated at the Universal College of Medical Sciences in Bhairawa. According to the initial estimate of the police, the accident may have been caused due to heavy rain and high speed in Bhairahawa.
District Police Office and District Traffic Office Rupandehi have jointly conducted various public awareness programs keeping in mind the accidents caused by anger in and around Bhairahawa.
According to Sakarraj Pant, Head of District Traffic Office Rupandehi, 'reflective stickers' have been pasted as per the campaign.
