All kinds of preparations have been completed in the district for holding the local level election. Preparations have been completed in 51 polling stations of 34 polling stations in the district. Chief Election Officer Rajendra Nepal said that 255 staffs, 153 volunteers and security personnel have been mobilized at the polling stations to complete the polling.
Ghita Pokharel, chief of Dhunche polling station, said that the polling would be completed smoothly as the polling booth has been constructed and an all-party meeting has been held by the polling officer. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the ballot boxes will be brought by helicopter for counting after the polling is completed in the remote area of Langtang.
An office of five polling officers has been set up in the district and the ballots will be brought to the district headquarters for counting as Langtang area falls in Gosaikunda village municipality-4. It is said that all the preparations including CCTV cameras have been completed at the polling station.
