32 women assigned as polling officer

Thirty-two women have been assigned as polling officers in Tanahu for tomorrow's local elections. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, 32 women have been given the responsibility of polling officers at various local level polling stations in the district.

Most of the polling officers are secondary level teachers. Chief Election Officer Harish Chandra Dhungana informed that 297 polling stations have been fixed in 136 polling stations of the district. This time, the staff members have been mobilized in any of the polling stations are not only women. In the last local level election, only women employees were mobilized in some polling stations.
