The first meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly held today has approved the amendment of five ordinances issued by the then Chief Minister Rajendra Prasad Pandey's Council of Ministers.
The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalikram Jamkattel, tabled a proposal in the provincial assembly's meeting held today afternoon to give approval to the said ordinance. Chief Minister Jamkattel tabled a proposal to grant approval to Ordinance 2023 to regulate the formation, operation, and conditions of the state civil service, and Ordinance 2023 to regulate the formation and operation of local-level services.
Similarly, he tabled a proposal to grant approval to Ordinance 2023 to amend the State Health Service Act, 2019, Ordinance 2023 to make arrangements for the State Agricultural Development, and Ordinance 2023 to establish and operate the State Handicraft Village.
The second meeting held today passed a condolence resolution for all the passengers who died in the plane crash of Yeti Airlines, along with four crew members, in Pokhara on Sunday morning, January 1st. Speaker of Bagmati State Assembly Bhuvan Kumar Pathak adjourned the next meeting to be held on January 3 at 12:30 PM.
