Nepal Tourism Board has recently provided training on tourism business to 645 people.
According to Dhananjay Regmi, executive chief of the board, 43 women have been provided guide training in the far west. In this context, the Board has organized tourism fairs in Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Dharan. In a program organized here today, Board members Madan Acharya and Milan Devkota honored Nara Bahadur Tandon for his contribution in promoting Nepal's tourism abroad.
On the occasion, Director of the Board Hikmat Singh Air presented a working paper on various activities being carried out to promote the country's tourism sector at the international level. Stating that the country needs a lot of infrastructure for its development as it has great potential for tourism, he said that a certain fee has been charged from the tourists for the development of tourism service and hiking information management system.
