A 27-year-old Indian woman has set a record by climbing two mountains above 8,000 meters in Nepal within two weeks.
Baljit Kaur from Himachal Pradesh, India had climbed Kanchenjunga (8,586 m). And had climbed Annapurna I (8,091 m) on April 28.
She is now planning to climb Mt. Everest and Lhotse this season.
According to Peak Promotion Company, her goal is to climb 4 mountains above 8000 meters in a month. She is also the first Indian woman to climb Pumori and Dhawalagiri mountain.
