CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal returned home today following his visit to Sri Lanka.
The leader had been in Sri Lanka to attend a function organised on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka and a meeting of the Communist Parties of South Asia. The leader landed here today on the flight of the Sri Lankan Air UL 181.
During his stay in the island country, the former Prime Minister held a meeting with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and with his Sri Lankan counterpart Dinesh Gunawardena, centering on the age-old bilateral relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka, according to the Secretariat of leader Nepal.
