The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Tae-Young Park paid a courtesy call to Ramesh Rijal, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies of Nepal.
The two exchanged views on the bilateral relations of Nepal and Korea and discussed further ways to strengthen the two countries' economic cooperation.
Ambassador Park and Minister Rijal highlighted that the two countries have maintained friendly relations in areas such as development, economy, and people-to-people exchanges since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1974, and agreed to develop further the cooperative relations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties of Nepal and Korea next year.
Ambassador Park requested Minister Rijal and the ministry's continuous support for inviting more Korean companies' investments in Nepal.
