The Madhesh state government will provide financial assistance to the families of those martyred during the Madhesh movement and people's war. The Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications is going to provide financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 per month to the families of the martyrs through the Madhesi Martyrs' Foundation.
Secretary of the Ministry Ram Kumar Mahato informed that the children of the martyr's family will also be given scholarships for free education. "We have issued notice to the families of the martyrs to apply for alimony and scholarships," he said. "The state government has allocated Rs 10 million for this year. The amount may vary depending on the number of applications. ”
Secretary Mahato said that the children of the martyr's family will be given Rs. 16,000 for classes 1 to 6 and Rs. 18,000 for classes 7 to 12. According to Article 6 of the Rules of Procedure 2079 on Maintenance and Scholarship of the State Government, it has been decided to provide financial assistance to the families of those who were martyred in the Madhes Movement and People's War.
