Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has instructed the officials of the Lumbini Development Fund to work day and night for the development of the entire Lumbini region.
At a program organized by the Lumbini Development Fund at the Ministry today to congratulate the newly appointed officials of the fund, he also urged the officials of the Khatin Fund to work hard for the development of the Lumbini region. He said, "You have a five-year term. Develop the Lumbini region within your tenure."
Minister Ale also instructed all the office bearers and employees to work together for the grand and civilized success of the upcoming Buddha Jayanti. He said, "Let's all join hands for Buddha Jayanti. Do as much as you can in the campaign to attract more Buddhists and tourists from home and abroad. I am ready to help as much as I can."
Minister Ale wished and congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and instructed them to work with high morale. He urged the government to work out a multi-year process to bring the cost estimate of the Lumbini Development Fund, which has completed more than 81 percent of the work so far and the cost of the remaining work. Minister Ale instructed to carry out other works accordingly as he found the works being carried out in Lumbini area to be of quality during the monitoring.
