Due to local level elections and public holidays, courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, will be closed till May 16. A statement issued by the Supreme Court's Joint Spokesperson Devendra Dhakal today states that the court will be closed for four consecutive days from May 13 to May 16 due to local elections and public holidays.
The court has stated that the Supreme Court will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for the purpose of hearing the habeas corpus on Monday, May 16, according to Article 26 of the Justice Administration Act, 2016 AD.
