A meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition parties held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar today has decided to take immediate action if the electoral coordination outside the coalition is not canceled.
A meeting chaired by the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has decided to take initiative to immediately withdraw the candidates registered independently by the representatives of various parties against the agreement reached between the two parties.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to immediately withdraw the candidates registered by the coalition parties against the agreement between the alliance for the posts of chief and deputy chief of six metropolitan cities and 11 sub-metropolitan cities.
After the meeting, Congress president Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) president Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) president Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal president Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Janamorcha vice president Durga Poudel signed the agreement and made it public.
