CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that there was no alternative to the party to gain supremacy in the upcoming election for the protection of political achievements.
Addressing an orientation organised here on Wednesday, he urged the party leaders and cadres to focus their attention on the election as the upcoming election is a matter of 'life and death' situation for the party. Also the former Prime Minister, Dahal shared that massive mass mobilization was necessary to explain to the people about the policy adopted by the Maoists to save the nation from a mishap. "We must defeat the regressive elements by using all powers in the upcoming election," he said.
Chair Dahal argued that conspiracy is being hatched to make the CPN (Maoist Centre) weak in the upcoming election and to implement 'Two Party System' as like in an autocratic country.
Stating that the party has launched a two-month-long election campaign as per the decision of the central committee, he added that all leaders should focus their attention on the coming election. He however clarified that they had to ratify the MCC compact with an explanatory note for the protection of gained achievements like peace process, republic and federalism.
