The Nagarik Unmukti Party has decided to make party president Ranjita Shrestha the vice presidential candidate.
Gangaram Choudhary, chief whip of the parliamentary party, informed the government that the meeting of the parliamentary party held this morning decided to make Shrestha, a member of the House of Representatives, the candidate for the vice president.
Likewise, the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP) also decided on Thursday to make Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, the leader of the parliamentary party, the vice-presidential candidate. The nominations of the candidates for the vice president will be registered tomorrow and the election will be held on March 17.
