Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Chairman of Nepali Congress, has said that although there is some understanding and consensus regarding the election of the Vice President, no decision has been made between the coalition to give the Vice President to the Janata Samajwadi Party.
Deputy Chairman Khadka said that the senior leader of the party Ramchandra Poudel won the presidency on Thursday as a result of the party's internal dialogue between the parties that had agreed on the agenda.
Deputy Chairman Khadka said that although there was some understanding and agreement about the election of the Vice President, a decision has not been made between the coalition to give the Vice President to the Janata Samajwadi Party. He said that the alliance meeting will be held soon and a formal decision will be taken. The writ petition registered against Prime Minister Dahal is being heard in the Supreme Court today.
