The ruling coalition parties will also discuss the issue of seat distribution in the metropolitan and sub-metropolitan constituencies for the upcoming local elections. Advocate Keshav Raj Joshi, member secretary of the local level election preparation mobilization and monitoring committee, informed that a meeting with the top leaders of the coalition parties will be held at the PM's residence in Baluwatar from 2 pm today.

Monday's meeting of the local level election preparation mobilization and monitoring committee, including the top leaders of the coalition parties, could not reach a final decision despite intensive discussions on the issue. In Monday's meeting, the seat distribution of six metropolitan and 11 sub-metropolitan areas was discussed. The Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, and Rastriya Janamorcha have decided to coordinate the election in the local level election to be held on April 13.
