UML leads vote counting under PR system

The CPN UML has decided to vote against the government during the vote of confidence at the House of Representatives.

The CPN (UML) is leading the vote counting under the proportional representation (PR) system this 11:30 pm Tuesday.  

According to the Election Commission (EC), UML has got 159,050 votes while NC, which is in the second position, has managed 138,446 votes.   

In the third position, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has got 70,795 votes. 

Likewise, CPN (Maoist Centre) has obtained 66,911 votes and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has 37,335 votes. 

The EC stated that Janamat Party has got 12,626 votes and Janata Samajwadi Party has 12,138 votes under the PR system.  

Similarly, Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party has managed 8,621 votes, CPN (Unified Socialist) has 8,561 votes, Nagarik Unmukti Party holds 7,830 votes and other parties have managed 32,319 votes.
