Six members of the working committee of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have demanded to withdraw the action taken against four national players.
At a press conference on Wednesday, members Rishi Ram Gautam, Amit Vir Pandey, Karan Mahatra, Sanjay Raj Singh and Chhumbi Lama demanded that CAN's decision to remove national team captain Gyanendra Malla and vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airy and others.
"Instead of taking the initiative to provide prize money to the winners of the Tri-Nation T20 cricket tournament in Nepal, we demand the withdrawal of the planned action against the national cricket player in the name of discipline," the press release said.
After the players disagreed with the classification, the CAN members said in a statement that action was taken to find a way to resolve the dispute by communicating with them.
