Aftab Ali and Prince Deula of Bagmati province have won a gold medal in the National Level Male/Female Weight Group 'Full Contact' Karate Championship.
Aftab beat Ram Sharan BK of Bagmati in the Under 35 Kg Male final bout while Prince overpowered Niroj Dudhraj of Bagmati in the Under 40 Kg weight category final fight held at the covered hall of the National Sports Council (NSC) at the local Tripureshwor.
Similarly, Anmol Majhi of Lumbini outdid Prabhat Syangtan of Bagmati in the Under 45 Kg weight category while Bibek Ghimire of Bagmati province defeated Rabin Tamang of the same province in the Under 55 Kg weight category in the final bout, and clinched the gold medal.
The Championship is organized by Nepal IFCK Association. Former lawmaker Ram Krishna Chitrakar and president of the organizing Association Ghanshyam Shrestha presented the medals and prizes to the winning players.
