The government is going to give cash prizes to the players of the winning Nepali team of the triangular T20 series. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to provide Rs 200,000 each to the players of the Nepali National Team, according to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Pubudu Dassanayake, the head coach of the Nepali National Team, will get Rs 150,000 and other officials will get Rs 100,000 each. The Nepali National Team had won the competition between Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia held in Kathmandu from 14 to 21 March. The proposal to award the winning players was taken to the Council of Ministers by the Ministry of Sports.
