The tourist spots of Bhojpur have been getting overshadowed lately. Due to the lack of publicity and the inability to build infrastructure, those places have not been chosen by tourists. Bhojpur, the land of Balaguru Shadanand and revolutionist Yogamaya, who spread the light of education from Taksar Bazar, where doli money was printed at that time, is a district with potential for tourism. There are many historical touristic and religious destinations here. But mostly those places are anonymous.

There are also historical Hatuwagarhi and Kotgarhi. Hatuwagarhi in Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality and Kotgarhi in Pauwadung Rural Municipality are also in decline. Although domestic tourists are arriving here sporadically, foreign tourists have not reached yet. The famous Shiddhakali temple at the head of Yogamaya Majhuwabensi, Golmeraja Golmerani Bhir, Nagchanga, Chulachuli Cave, religious and tourist area Salpasilichung, Tripureshwar Mahadev, Santaneshwar Mahadev, known as the second hallensi in Pauwadungma rural municipality, are waiting for tourists.

Similarly, the highest Change Falls, Silichung Peak, Temke Hill, Mayung Hill and other famous places in the district are famous. As the migration is increasing, the population density here is decreasing. Lakpa Sherpa of Temkemayung-5 said, "There are many tourist areas in our place. The attention of the local level, state and center has not reached enough." He said that the arrival of domestic and foreign tourists to those places will be less until roads and other developments are made.

In the year 2068, the population of Bhojpur was one lakh 82 thousand 459. In 2078, the population has decreased to 158 thousand 991. Ajay Rai, a local, says that the tourism sector is overshadowed due to lack of necessary infrastructure. "The number of visitors is low", he said.
