There will be a calibration flight at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today as well. For this, the Airport Office has issued a notice from 11:30 am to 2:30 notifying that domestic and international flights will be affected during this period.
The calibration flight of Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa is also being flown at TIA.
Test flights are taking place to know whether the radio equipment, the lights and other equipment connected to the runway are working or not.
